AhAhAhA!!! today was absolute fun!

Reached school at 730 hoping that i wont get lost. Turned out i wasn't going to be lost because EVERYONE was just standing around! Met up with ken and bryan and grace and roy and liptong and deborah and yeah, you get the idea.

The first item was the ear drums blasting lion dance. I didn't really see a point in that bit (other than the opening of our school) but it does get boring to watch two people hiding under costumes and hopping around the stage. The nice part came in when Prof Lai joined in with a big doll head and walked around the stage fanning himself!

So yeah, as expected, there was a talk by the prof and one minute of silence for the victims of the tsunami. Then we all filed out of the hall for a lecture by a guest speaker

The lecturer was Dr Sow, talking about nanotechnology. Whee! The LT was freezing! Most of what he said was learnt before and he wasn't boring at all, so the lecture was pretty cool. He also had alot of corny punch lines but i suppose it's better than going on and on and on and on and on... ...

After that we were split into houses. I'm in the same house as grace, deborah, jenkin, lei lei and nat i think. Haha... we got to name our houses! The other houses had names starting with F (lik Faraday and Flemming) and our house had to be extra and call ourselves Nobel XD . Roy, liptong, ken and the three other crescentians got into the blue house flemming. So lucky

There was afew games to get us to bond together as a group like making a nice long line of items and arranging ourselves according to b'day. pretty usual and all that. we also had to come up with a performance to entertain our 4 principals this coming friday i think.

Bought the culottes and tried on ken's longs. It was pretty loose around the waist but other than that it was perfect!!! AHAHAHAHA!!! Gah, should have let him try on culottes

Well, walked over to holland village for lunch and talked and played lame games
