Woke up eaarly today since mom had to teach and i have yet to get my school uniforms. >.< So i dragged my lazy ass off the bed with some threats from my mom to go to school in my old uniform. What a thought!!! *cringe*

As expected, there was no queue! (no one is crazy enough to wake up so early) forget everything about the 'try to get used to waking up early' thing because it doesnt work, because no one can get used to waking up at 6! SLEEP ALL YOU WANT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!

So yeah, went home to play MS and surf the net. Eurgh, i'm slowing down my posting on the forums.

Today will be the last horse riding lesson, aww. Had cynthia again, just that she was less fierce this week. (maybe its because we could remember what to do?) well, thank everything i didn't get bobby. i got sonny! (all my horses seem to come from the front stables) lucky abby got patch again.

So yeah, we led our horses into the areana with sonny insistent on smelling patch's butt. Stupid horse just waiting for a well planted kick. Still he was the most handsome fella and was so cooperative so no complaints here!

We did the rein changing thingie which was completely disorganised, and for a moment i was afraid that cynthia would start scolding. we rode standing up for a few minutes at a shot and it was like super duper tiring!!! my legs were just achish the moment i jumped off the saddle

Yesterdays barbeque was >.< (fun? weird?)

well, i was feeling so 0.oish i couldn't be bothered to make proper conversation with anyone. I know, it's bad, don't have to remind me.

i went at about 5 and yihui mel vic and justin (i think) were there already doing goodness what/ anyway, we didn't have the lighter, nor matches, nor any idea whatsoever to do with the stuff on hand. so how? walk to nat's house to borrow everything. (everything we needed was in the cupboard actually, we just didn't bother to look)

no one really knew how to start the fire (so we just lit up everything) or prepare the food, so it came out either raw or burnt. that probably explains my flopping stomach at the end of the day. the smarter people went to the kitchen to fry the chicken wings

Probably the most fun part would be at the end, which was less taxing to my already 0.o mood. We split into two groups, one group playing cards and the other group (mine!) sitting around a makeshift campfire. We played weird games while eating marshmallows, jelly and this thingie jeremy prepared. anyway, it was good

Gavan and the twins play MS too and obviously i am higher levelled than they are (they lack the awesome friends to leech off)

Got another christmas card! (pretty late i know)

Woke up late today, since i stayed up a bit last night to read so i could just go off for lunch. Mom took me to jelita for lunch since i have to pick up the drinks for the barbecue later on.

So i was just sitting there drinking the worst soup imaginable when i noticed a lady waving to me. Not wanting to be impolite and all, i waved back, still having no idea who she was. Well then i saw two people sitting next to her. One had his back to me and the other had a cap covering half his face. Not very helpful either. Finally the guy with the cap looked up and lo and behold there was jenkin, again. (well i did see him yesterday)

So jenkins mom and my mom proceeded to talk the next hour away while the three of us took another table and played around with our handphones and talked about random stuff. heh... another person with a haircut. That makes about 12 now. Gosh, how much can they talk!!! jenkins mom (a music teacher) actually thinks that i am gentle!

So yeah, after an hour they went off and i went to get the drinks for the bbq. This lady at cold storage proceeded to try selling the whole store to my mom. Now we have a huge chunk of ham sitting in the fridge waiting for the new year

Mel is going to church so super early to collect the keys... i will go at 4 plus maybe. Well, off to maple story before the bbq starts!

went to the RJC campus to collect my school books for next year >.< so thick and heavy! I feel like tearing them and rebinding them according to chapters. they were also selling the uniforms but i didn't get them because there was no blouse or PE shirt. bleah

spent the rest of the day sitting in front of the computer rotting away

Was online for only a while yesterday before my uncle came. I had just fnished my lunch when it was time to leave for the christmas dinner!

So yeah, leslie (my cousin) was there and all my relatives and all my cousin-in-law's relatives. I also saw yiwen(leslie's sister)'s new boyfriend. Eh, a pretty good looking guy. Much better than the last (like of course!). He looks like my cousin (the one whose house we were in) from the side.

So i just sat there on the couch watching animal planet and listening to him and leslie's racist jokes. man, they are walking collections of it. since i had my lunch before, i only ate the sandwiches and the grey thingie and sushi and some fruits and chips and. oh no. i just realised i ate ALOT.

The four of us played bridge the remaining of the night. Leslie and Yvonne just learnt how to play so i wasn't the worst!

Today!

I suffered the full impact of the sleepover this morning. My eyes were uncorperative and my brain was sluggish. Still, i dragged myself out of bed before i could sleep again. The worship kept me awake, the sermon was a struggle and i nearly went over the line seperating me from the consious world while pastor boey was praying. thankfully, i jerked awake somehow. else i'd be in trouble.

Sunday school was slightly more bearable, with something to think about, regardless of the speed my brain was processing information. Aunty lay kim gave out book marks!!! Whee!

And then there was the sunday school for the primary section. now THAT really woke me up. i think i had as fun as the kids there with the memory games. good gosh, they were even more excited than i was! i never knew that to be possible. there was like the memory game, two bible verses stations and some water balloon thing. joel and victor decided to help out and so had to do the more physical task of picking up stuff for the little kids while mel yihui and i stayed indoors and moved the table once every few seconds

After that mom and i went to shop for new clothes. Got a new cargo pants and 2 shirts from esprit. Heh... so rockster image. All my shirts now so 'guai', so this doesn't go with my entire wardrobe >.< Oh well, thank god for sisters.

And i went swimming again. I love the jaccuzzi. I shall make that spot with my buttprints on it mine. And i shall hog it all the time! Wahahaha!

AAAAAHHHHH.... i just missed the final episode of 'six weeks'! WHAT AM I DOING???

Christmas is here! Whee!

Yesterday was the sleepover... so fun =) Mels dad came to pick me up at 645 and we sang christmas carols in the car. I didn't know alot? Okay fine. I couldn't remember the whole silent night song. Mels dad would sing a verry old carol, and realise that we weren't singing, and ask 'oh man, don't you guys know this song?' and mel would reply 'dad, you're old!' or something along the lines, and proceed to sing rudolph the rednosed reindeer.

When we got there we took refuge in our old classroom on the third floor as with last year. None of the older youths ever bother to go up there. We just kicked off our shoes when victor gave a call to mel. I decided to drag him up unil mel told me he was in the guys washroom >.< Eh... just trudged downstairs and see how first. Turn up he wasn't in he guys washroom by the time i got there. Would be weird to charge there yelling his name 0.o

Joel boey somehow managed to find his way up and the four of us just played card games as it was still early. The thing was supposed to start at 8 but we met up at 715 for some crazy reason. After bluff and uno and rat race and goodness knows what, it was already 9!!! Gack... So darn late already. So we decided not to meet up with the other youths and just stay and camp over in the small litte room.

Since we were not meeting up with the others, we also decided to not let them know we are alive. So we locked the door and hibernated and switched off the lights and turned jumpy whenever we thought someone was coming. The lights stayed off for almost the rest of the night, with the EXIT sign a most brilliant source of illumination

Yihui came at like 10 or 11 and joel and i went down to pick her up. Bleah! The other youths were just preparing to leave church! When they saw me they all went like 'OMG! Where were you hiding! how come we didn't see you?!' they all wanted to send someone off to the airport and had to lock up with gates so we stayed in and they stayed out.

With 5 people now in church, we strolled and talked and played more card games. After some nutty inspiration, we decided to sneak out of church for supper and back again. Yihui couldn't go, so we bought back stuff for her. So yeah... we made our way to a most stuffy and hot 7-11 and it was sooooo small. Once we were done with buying our stuff we all left the place pronto. It's like a 5 degree hike from normal room temperature.

Ach... again when we got back the other youths also came back and we had to run all the way up to the room. Yihui had finished sorting out the whole deck of uno cards and had almost finish building a card pyramid. It tumbled the moment we came back.

The rest of the time was spent eating and talking about random stuff. We tried to play truth or dare, but no one had anything interesting to ask at all. finally, joel spent 2 hours thinking of as many girls as he could because i dared him to name at least 20 of his friends who were girls.

Stayed up until 5 when we came up with the idea of watching the sunrise. Everyone but mel drifted off to sleep. I woke up when mel walked over my sleeping back and gave a sleepy 'don't step on me!'. That woke victor up too and his eyes flew open. He doesn't say anything when he wakes or drifts off so its hard to anyone to tell. Joel was deep in slumberland and giving happy snores. After that i could only catch snatches of rest until we finally decided to wash up. Which was at 645!

Throughout the sunrise we sat in the room, stoning and talking very s-l-o-w-l-y. No one bothered to look out of the window at all. Service was starting at 10 and we had nothing to do until then. About 3 hours of blank stuff. What to do? Go yakun for breakfast!

Service was okay i guess... the five of us and our families occupied two rows

Just woke up from my nap and all the typing has woke me up properly... i'll grab a bite now... tata

Eh... horse riding today was crazy. I got the scardy cat subborn horse bobby 0.o

So anyway, the instuctor today was Cynthia. She was so fierce! When the horses refused to move, she gave them a nice kick in the rump. Eh... poor things... When the horse in front of me got kicked, my skittish bobby decided to cut and run. Eventually i got used to him running away whenever cynthia came near. She was also very strict with us girls and we had a hard time under her yelling and stuff.

When we lead the horses up to the areana, debbie's santana kept scratching itself until the bit came off. He then proceeded to rear up, trash about and pull himself away from debbie. Debbie held on at first, until he reared up again and she let go of the reins. Whee! the horse staggered backwards and slammed into the fence and lay on the ground motionless.

At the same time i had to calm the scardy cat bobby who was convinced what santana was after him. Crazy thing as so strong! Dragged me along and kicked non stop till santana was motionless. How i managed to watch the whole event with such a horse ill never know. So yeah... Cynthia rushed to the horse and undid the girth and everything and calmed the horse and scolded debbie for goodness knows what. Poor girl didn't get to ride the entire lesson because her horse now had an injured leg

Tiki also attacked bobby. >.< Recap. I was riding a skittish horse who was being attacked once in a while and and ran sideways everytime the instructor came. Not a pretty sight. Aside from that, all was okay except that bobby was stubborn so i had to kick him really hard. My legs are still hurting from that.

I want another horse for my next lesson

Gargh! The drilling is not stoping anytime soon... i'd be deaf by the end of this renovation. WHY DO THEY USE LIKE 7 DRILLS AT ONE SHOT!!! It's so bad that i can feel the vibrations even when i am walking. Between this and freezing in the pool, i'd choose the pool. Thats why i'm going swimming again later too escape the noise

Great... my head is about to burst. Ever time the drill throbs it's as though someone just punched me in the face. Over and over and over and over again. Worse still, they brought in a NEW machine which is EVEN LOUDER and you can actually see my phone sliding off the table from the vibrations! Oh my head and my ears

I can't take this anymore... i'm going to try sleep everything off til it's time to swim

Picture this... A bright sunny tuesday morning, 10am. A girl is soundly asleep from staying up til late last night. All is quiet. Suddenly, 5 drills start at the same time, from the apartment above.

Ah yes... the pain indeed. Not one, not two, but FIVE!!! Stupid neighbours keep on renovating their house at least once every two years. WHAT IS YOUR DEAL?! So i cracked open a sleepy eye and decided to leave the room. Surprise surprise! I was greeted with an even Louder noise. More drills! Slammed the door shut and hid under the pillow and covers

Eternity passed and finally lunch time came... ah... they finally had some sense to stop.

Went swimming with yihui as well. Not exactly swimming, we drifted around for a long time and then hopped into the jacuzzi to talk some more. The wind was blowing so hard that the moment i stuck my hand out of the jacuzzi, it froze. Really! When we left the place my fingers were all numb and had a hard time putting on my stuff. Brrr... it's cold just thinking of it.

Whee! Christmas is coming in like 5 days time!!!

Yihui mel and i went to orchard together today to do some very late shopping. My list is not even half done yet =S Anyway we took neoprints and half the time i didn't know what was going on.

So yeah... spent the whole day trying to find stuff to buy. in the end i only bought one item. So anyway, after we had figured out what to buy for who, we stopped to have gilato ice creams at taka.

And yes, we talked

Anyway yeah... i plum forgot that today was sunday and so didn't make it a point to sleep early... the result was a very sleepy person of course. Couldn't see the transparencies for worship >.< Worse off was that there were two new songs

Sunday school was funny... the guys still have no idea how to pronounce my chinese name and so i wasn't called on =) The primary section were having the finals for the bible quiz so no work for me to do! I couldn't anyway, short sightedness sucks. Instead mel yihui vic joel yuwing edwin edward gavan and i (or rather half the class) were discussing about the bbq and such... I'm in charge of drinks! Whee!

So spent the whole time just yakkity yakking until 1230 when everyone had to go. Mom whisked me off to orchard where we had lunch. Eh... sushi again.

Headed on to wisma to get my hair chopped off =( Edwin cut it again and he did a good job i guess... i don't feel that bad about losing the 5 inches after all. He gave me a mirror to check my hair but since i couldn't see, it didn't really matter. My head feels lighter

Finally, i went to holland V to fix up my specs. Didn't take long, but aunty rose and aunty adeline were there and so were the crackers and sweets, so i sat there and chatted and ate with some other customers who were friendly enough to talk.

Do i like my new hairstyle? i think i do!

Went to visit Ethan (my nephew) today. His mom is overseas (my cousin) but he thinks she is at work. 0.0 Not too bright, this child. Well, i played with him until he decided to play on his own, and went to sit on the stairs. Soon enough, he came looking for me.

Mom wants me to chop off six inches of my hair... guess how long it is now

I just realised that christmas is coming... must must must must MUST remember to get all the presents and cards for everyone on my list. Which reminds me... i HAVEN'T got a list yet

Hahaha... one week has gone by and once again i'm on top of a horse =)

Went out for lunch at swensens today before going to the saddle club. I was more than an hour early 0.0 Anyway, i played with the horses abit until it started to rain and the horses and i all turned grumpy. The rain didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon.

So come four and we went to the stable office to find that sue wasn't going to be taking us this lesson but the guy we saw the other day... forgot his name already.

Anyway, this time i had a horse all to myself! He is CityGarden... tall, black and loves to kick. His mane is really short, so instead of drooping it stands up like a moehawk. Anyway, the kicking plus the rain plus a lesson in heaven (this sand pit) has got my shoes socks shirt and jeans all muddy and icky.

The other girls got smaller horses! Hahahahahaha......

nAyway, i'm tired. just came home

Today is my last piano lessons for the year! Mr quek gave me a pressie (which i have already opened anyway) and it's one of those cushions for your hands to rest on while you type and all that. OMG! It's so soft and furry!!! (its in the shape of a dog btw)

Yup, so anyway, i am supposed to remember at least two pieces from my concert book by the next lesson. Hmm... i can remember snips here and there, but the 11 pages of twinkle twinkle little star? Guess not.

Today is the first of many days which i have the computer all to myself.... wahahahaha.... bet sis is having a great time in australia. (i have a feeling you are reading this now so remember to get me a present!!!)

I have horseriding tomorrow, but somehow can't seem to sleep... toss and turn and run out to use the computer 0.o Oh well... wonder which horse i'll be using this time (locomotion... locomotion... locomotion... locomotion...)

I was nearly late! of course it didn't matter to her, she wasn't the one who needed to go for worship. grr...

so yup, i ran all the way up to the oikos hall to find the place half empty... everyone's on holiday. so i was the only one from row 1 to row 4. cari ann came to join me later on though. they played some clip about the kelong which i missed to go for the NUSH briefing 0.o

john was teaching for sunday school today and as expected, it was hillarious! he did do a good job, but everyone was laughing most of the time. see what the lessons was like.

john: we will now begin with a word of prayer (everyone laughs) gavan you start (everyone bows head... gavan protests) okay fine dominic you do the prayer (everyone struggles to refrain from laughing, dominic keeps quiet) okay fine! i'll do the prayer!

lmao! our sunday school class also had to prepare the drinks for the fellowship lunch. alot of things seem to fall into the drink container... eeps. and they put their hands into the drink too! :s as expected, i didn't drink any of it after watching how it was done

the primary school section was having bible quiz today and gosh, those questions were so easy!!! i was invigilating for fun and had a fun time watching them ponder on why angels appeared to joseph. halfway through the marking of scripts i sneaked out to talk. i was the only one not eating, bah

anyway, sis had a haircut from edwin again

slept last night at 3 plus... i don't get to see mornings much anymore. i have become an owl except for the fact that i still don't eat mice. so woke up this morning after a nice 9 hours of sleep and tickled my sis to wake her up. she gave a sleepy little whack at my hand and covered her face with the blanket. she's even more nocturnal than i am

so i dragged myself to the computer and chatted and mapled for a while... okay, three hours. then mom called to ask how i was doing (which was fine) and that she had to stay out until four. no worries, i continued to maple

when sis woke up mom came home and we fixed up another set of creme brulee... this time with ginger and cinamon!

some war thingie went on in this stumpy place on maple story... er, well. it was hilarious listening to the opposite sides going 'you don't be scared ah' and 'we'll be back tomorrow' and 'don't cry arh'. like a gang fight! the other side lost, thankfully. i wasn't much of a help anyway, those stumpies would take so little damage and i was 2 points short of using my new bow And was being bullied almost everywhere i went 0.o grr... so hard to train up an archer

the forum is 2 months old and thriving! i have been promoted to a gobal mod like Vex. whee! such fun... i have an additional admin link on the top to change member groups. other new features are the kung fu (like fame) and a new private board for yr 3s only.

dad is leaving singapore again... =(

Woke up early today... 8am! Mom practically had to drag me out of bed because i slept at two last night, day dreaming and not sleeping.

So well, sis and i went over to Ahmah's place and we saw Aunty jeanette's baby wenxi! Oh my gosh she was just soooo adorable! She had the most beautiful eyes that sparkles when she gives a happy chuckle. And she kept grabbing my fingers and stuffing them in her mouth. it was so funy!

We spent the time talking to my grandmother while the baby slept. My teochew is going down the drain... takes me a while to register a few words to utter out

So anyway we had lunch which was bee hoon. i didn't really like it, but didn't like the idea of turning down the food (after saying how hungry i was) so i helped myself to what i considered was a reasonably good amount for a hungry person. oh gosh... it was sooo filling

So dad took my sis and i to the amara hotel while he talked to some people he let my sis and i do some shopping. eurgh! of all things she had to look at swimwear. i like the bathrobe though, looked really nice

After running up and down looking at the most ridiculous things we went over to have coffee and cakes at the coffee house below. i had a chocolate and mint blend with a brownie while sis had a caramel and an opera. i liked mine better. dad came in half way and we headed for holland village

We popped in to alot of places like zed and zees and whatnots til it was pretty late and we bought some ingredients for dinner. I can't cook so i shall not comment on this.

When we came home dad was making us help cook. two things. i can't cook and i don't eat til i'm hungry. it was 4! FOUR!!! So no choice, just cook and shut up.

Dinner was at five. I felt positively sick after the meal... i have never stuffed so much food into myself before

No mood to maple, no computer to maple, and maple is down

Horse riding today! Ah yes, the long awaited day is here!

Dad drove me over to the saddle club and turned out that i was half an hour early... yikes... we headed to the office to do some payment thingie and there i met deborah, abby and cheryl, my classmates.

Well, our first instructor sue just did the basics with the horse Locomotion! He was a cool dude man, except for the fact that he lost one eye to the infection... so we did the saddling and what nots on him and he was just so sweet

Our second instructor was Sandra let us play with Patch the pony. She (patch) was really really really strong and i had to wrestle with her to stop her from eating grass. the younger girls however, weren't as strong and patch ate her way through.

Dinner was pasta!

Yes i did meet this legendary jane goodall! yay! i don't sound convincing do i? really, i did go for one of her talks today

went to the NUS block 16 today to meet up with the rest. saw yu heng, deborah, the jenkin guy, lip tong and alot alot of year ones. oh gosh, we were the oldest there!

so yeah, the thing was highly inspirational except no visual stimuli. i had an autograph too!

gosh, i really have no mood to blog now

Haha... so that's where i was headed this morning and left you all hanging on messanger... really... i did put up an away sign!

Hmmm... i reached outram earlier than expected and just walked around until bryan came and then we set off for SGH. ken, who came up with the bright idea of meeting at 0930 hrs was still on the mrt!!!

So after a long long wait, ken finally came. bryan's aunt brought us around and let us look at how they prepared slides of chromosome samples from prenatal women and cancer patients. It was very similar to the one we did with glowy bacteria! And there was this book full of pictures and stuff about people born with defective chromosomes

Come lunchtime ken went off to find his mom and bryan and i went to see how they split and organise the chromosomes on the computer. Turned out that ken was patiently waiting for us for 20 minutes!!!

Ken's mom treated me to lunch and there was noodles and iced tea. So nice! The adults talked about work and kids and the three of us talked about church camps. Ah, so many ideas flowing it was impossible to hear who was saying what. lol.

After lunch we had more energy and played and talked alot more. (violent games!) well, we went on so continue seeing how all the stuff was collected, the fixatives and stuff added to discolour the chromosomes.

It was so fun looking through the microscopes they have there because it's so many times more powerful than the one at home! Oh and we had to put oil on the slides too. We spent abit of time trying our hand at identifying the chromosomes, with the help of a chart of course.

By and by we started playing those word games like the around the world in 80 days. i had to do nearly 3 rounds before i found out the answer! oh! the pain! i was just so totally clueless due to some answers from ken. grr. 'and where are You going jac?'

So took the MRT home and listened to bryan trying to fish stuff from ken =)

I actually woke up at 7 this morning without the help of an alarm clock... miraculous

I need to do this more often

Then i won't be needing a clock for next year

Been busy shopping for anna kate's family's presents because sis will be staying at their place for 3 weeks and a bit. Christmas in australia! Spent 5 whole long hours on my feet in a crowded shopping mall with ample supply of carbon dioxide to kill anyone. Sis is staying over pat's house tonight. I believe today is that boring

Yeah... i couldn't really get much sleep last night so i read a magazine and settled myself in a nice position and by and by i was getting drowsy and went to bed. And my very considerate sister refused to switch off the lights and let me have a decent nights rest. Grr. Anyway, she had to sleep sooner or later because she has her SAT II today. Hahahahahahahaha...........

So i woke up at nine to go online and check who was there and lo and behold i wasn't the first to awake. okay fine, nine isn't exactly early for anyone but me. ken was there and he had not slept the whole night and so was pretty much on and off with his responses. Finally he dozed off.

I was very early. I signed my name, took my stuff and stood around and waited for my mom. i bet she got lost somewhere because she was very long in coming. Just as she came to look at my stuff bryan came, eyes glued to the handphone screen. I was so tempted to sneak up from behind. After that ken came sleepy eyed yawning and whatnots. It was just so funny the whole picture. We went into the hall to wait til i got impatient and hopped about. saw roy about to call me (which won't work because i left my phone at home) and dragged him in as well. never got to see grace, not one bit.

So there was this presentation in the front of the lecture and there were pictures of my group... gah... it's always that picture again and again and again and again. Well, roy was worse off because he appeared not once, not twice but about 8 times!!! I laughed til my sides hurt and face red.

So the rest of the lecture was just spent listening and passing comments and laughing. There are like a gabazillion choices so i'll definitely cram as much bio as i can get. HAHAHAHA.... no social studies!!!!!! The have marine biology too... Whee!!! I'm in seventh heaven or cloud nine... whichever is nicer

Then they showed us the uniforms which were so cool. No need to tuck in anything at all! Whoot!!! Ken was laughing at the girls' PE shorts, saying they looked like underwear til they said it was for guys too. Lol... They guys get to wear berms and polo top for casual wear and the girls have polo tops and this pants with a flap in front to look like a skirt. don't ask me to spell it. For formal occations it's just a blouse to go with it. The PE attire is a shirt and pants for girls and tank top for guys.

After the briefing i saw roy's sister ros! Whee! She looked really young. Anyway, she wants tosome to NUSH so this is one junior i will know bfore hand. Hahahah.... Then, we went to see this math teacher of bryans and kens. He looks young too, but in a different way from ros of course. So just chit chat about stuff and yar.

After that i had lunch at the canteen. It was, uh, bad

Haha... ken called me last night because he was at camp to ask me who won. Wasn't time yet and it was way way way too noisy over the phone so i went like 'what???' a few times. Finally when the results came out i told him the news and he yelled into the phone 'TAUFIK WON' and then a whole lot of people started cheering and screaming and the phone actually went fuzzy. Cheers to a dynamic camp group of taufik supporters

Haha! Another nice thing to add, with some help from roy, the two of us signed up for maple story yesterday. (my second time because my first acount was seriously screwed up) Not nice tobe reduced to a noob, but, roy is at the same level as i am so i am contented. Hahaha... Woke up eaarly today since mom had to teach and i have yet to get my school uniforms. >.< So i dragged my lazy ass off the bed with some threats from my mom to go to school in my old uniform. What a thought!!! *cringe*

As expected, there was no queue! (no one is crazy enough to wake up so early) forget everything about the 'try to get used to waking up early' thing because it doesnt work, because no one can get used to waking up at 6! SLEEP ALL YOU WANT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!

So yeah, went home to play MS and surf the net. Eurgh, i'm slowing down my posting on the forums.

Today will be the last horse riding lesson, aww. Had cynthia again, just that she was less fierce this week. (maybe its because we could remember what to do?) well, thank everything i didn't get bobby. i got sonny! (all my horses seem to come from the front stables) lucky abby got patch again.

So yeah, we led our horses into the areana with sonny insistent on smelling patch's butt. Stupid horse just waiting for a well planted kick. Still he was the most handsome fella and was so cooperative so no complaints here!

We did the rein changing thingie which was completely disorganised, and for a moment i was afraid that cynthia would start scolding. we rode standing up for a few minutes at a shot and it was like super duper tiring!!! my legs were just achish the moment i jumped off the saddle

Must see my schedule for next year before continuing lessons. Ouch

Yesterdays barbeque was >.< (fun? weird?)

well, i was feeling so 0.oish i couldn't be bothered to make proper conversation with anyone. I know, it's bad, don't have to remind me.

i went at about 5 and yihui mel vic and justin (i think) were there already doing goodness what/ anyway, we didn't have the lighter, nor matches, nor any idea whatsoever to do with the stuff on hand. so how? walk to nat's house to borrow everything. (everything we needed was in the cupboard actually, we just didn't bother to look)

no one really knew how to start the fire (so we just lit up everything) or prepare the food, so it came out either raw or burnt. that probably explains my flopping stomach at the end of the day. the smarter people went to the kitchen to fry the chicken wings

Probably the most fun part would be at the end, which was less taxing to my already 0.o mood. We split into two groups, one group playing cards and the other group (mine!) sitting around a makeshift campfire. We played weird games while eating marshmallows, jelly and this thingie jeremy prepared. anyway, it was good

Gavan and the twins play MS too and obviously i am higher levelled than they are (they lack the awesome friends to leech off)

Got another christmas card! (pretty late i know)

Woke up late today, since i stayed up a bit last night to read so i could just go off for lunch. Mom took me to jelita for lunch since i have to pick up the drinks for the barbecue later on.

So i was just sitting there drinking the worst soup imaginable when i noticed a lady waving to me. Not wanting to be impolite and all, i waved back, still having no idea who she was. Well then i saw two people sitting next to her. One had his back to me and the other had a cap covering half his face. Not very helpful either. Finally the guy with the cap looked up and lo and behold there was jenkin, again. (well i did see him yesterday)

So jenkins mom and my mom proceeded to talk the next hour away while the three of us took another table and played around with our handphones and talked about random stuff. heh... another person with a haircut. That makes about 12 now. Gosh, how much can they talk!!! jenkins mom (a music teacher) actually thinks that i am gentle!

So yeah, after an hour they went off and i went to get the drinks for the bbq. This lady at cold storage proceeded to try selling the whole store to my mom. Now we have a huge chunk of ham sitting in the fridge waiting for the new year

Mel is going to church so super early to collect the keys... i will go at 4 plus maybe. Well, off to maple story before the bbq starts!

went to the RJC campus to collect my school books for next year >.< so thick and heavy! I feel like tearing them and rebinding them according to chapters. they were also selling the uniforms but i didn't get them because there was no blouse or PE shirt. bleah

spent the rest of the day sitting in front of the computer rotting away

Was online for only a while yesterday before my uncle came. I had just fnished my lunch when it was time to leave for the christmas dinner!

So yeah, leslie (my cousin) was there and all my relatives and all my cousin-in-law's relatives. I also saw yiwen(leslie's sister)'s new boyfriend. Eh, a pretty good looking guy. Much better than the last (like of course!). He looks like my cousin (the one whose house we were in) from the side.

So i just sat there on the couch watching animal planet and listening to him and leslie's racist jokes. man, they are walking collections of it. since i had my lunch before, i only ate the sandwiches and the grey thingie and sushi and some fruits and chips and. oh no. i just realised i ate ALOT.

The four of us played bridge the remaining of the night. Leslie and Yvonne just learnt how to play so i wasn't the worst!

Today!

I suffered the full impact of the sleepover this morning. My eyes were uncorperative and my brain was sluggish. Still, i dragged myself out of bed before i could sleep again. The worship kept me awake, the sermon was a struggle and i nearly went over the line seperating me from the consious world while pastor boey was praying. thankfully, i jerked awake somehow. else i'd be in trouble.

Sunday school was slightly more bearable, with something to think about, regardless of the speed my brain was processing information. Aunty lay kim gave out book marks!!! Whee!

And then there was the sunday school for the primary section. now THAT really woke me up. i think i had as fun as the kids there with the memory games. good gosh, they were even more excited than i was! i never knew that to be possible. there was like the memory game, two bible verses stations and some water balloon thing. joel and victor decided to help out and so had to do the more physical task of picking up stuff for the little kids while mel yihui and i stayed indoors and moved the table once every few seconds

After that mom and i went to shop for new clothes. Got a new cargo pants and 2 shirts from esprit. Heh... so rockster image. All my shirts now so 'guai', so this doesn't go with my entire wardrobe >.< Oh well, thank god for sisters.

And i went swimming again. I love the jaccuzzi. I shall make that spot with my buttprints on it mine. And i shall hog it all the time! Wahahaha!

AAAAAHHHHH.... i just missed the final episode of 'six weeks'! WHAT AM I DOING???

Christmas is here! Whee!

Yesterday was the sleepover... so fun =) Mels dad came to pick me up at 645 and we sang christmas carols in the car. I didn't know alot? Okay fine. I couldn't remember the whole silent night song. Mels dad would sing a verry old carol, and realise that we weren't singing, and ask 'oh man, don't you guys know this song?' and mel would reply 'dad, you're old!' or something along the lines, and proceed to sing rudolph the rednosed reindeer.

When we got there we took refuge in our old classroom on the third floor as with last year. None of the older youths ever bother to go up there. We just kicked off our shoes when victor gave a call to mel. I decided to drag him up unil mel told me he was in the guys washroom >.< Eh... just trudged downstairs and see how first. Turn up he wasn't in he guys washroom by the time i got there. Would be weird to charge there yelling his name 0.o

Joel boey somehow managed to find his way up and the four of us just played card games as it was still early. The thing was supposed to start at 8 but we met up at 715 for some crazy reason. After bluff and uno and rat race and goodness knows what, it was already 9!!! Gack... So darn late already. So we decided not to meet up with the other youths and just stay and camp over in the small litte room.

Since we were not meeting up with the others, we also decided to not let them know we are alive. So we locked the door and hibernated and switched off the lights and turned jumpy whenever we thought someone was coming. The lights stayed off for almost the rest of the night, with the EXIT sign a most brilliant source of illumination

Yihui came at like 10 or 11 and joel and i went down to pick her up. Bleah! The other youths were just preparing to leave church! When they saw me they all went like 'OMG! Where were you hiding! how come we didn't see you?!' they all wanted to send someone off to the airport and had to lock up with gates so we stayed in and they stayed out.

With 5 people now in church, we strolled and talked and played more card games. After some nutty inspiration, we decided to sneak out of church for supper and back again. Yihui couldn't go, so we bought back stuff for her. So yeah... we made our way to a most stuffy and hot 7-11 and it was sooooo small. Once we were done with buying our stuff we all left the place pronto. It's like a 5 degree hike from normal room temperature.

Ach... again when we got back the other youths also came back and we had to run all the way up to the room. Yihui had finished sorting out the whole deck of uno cards and had almost finish building a card pyramid. It tumbled the moment we came back.

The rest of the time was spent eating and talking about random stuff. We tried to play truth or dare, but no one had anything interesting to ask at all. finally, joel spent 2 hours thinking of as many girls as he could because i dared him to name at least 20 of his friends who were girls.

Stayed up until 5 when we came up with the idea of watching the sunrise. Everyone but mel drifted off to sleep. I woke up when mel walked over my sleeping back and gave a sleepy 'don't step on me!'. That woke victor up too and his eyes flew open. He doesn't say anything when he wakes or drifts off so its hard to anyone to tell. Joel was deep in slumberland and giving happy snores. After that i could only catch snatches of rest until we finally decided to wash up. Which was at 645!

Throughout the sunrise we sat in the room, stoning and talking very s-l-o-w-l-y. No one bothered to look out of the window at all. Service was starting at 10 and we had nothing to do until then. About 3 hours of blank stuff. What to do? Go yakun for breakfast!

Service was okay i guess... the five of us and our families occupied two rows

Just woke up from my nap and all the typing has woke me up properly... i'll grab a bite now... tata

Eh... horse riding today was crazy. I got the scardy cat subborn horse bobby 0.o

So anyway, the instuctor today was Cynthia. She was so fierce! When the horses refused to move, she gave them a nice kick in the rump. Eh... poor things... When the horse in front of me got kicked, my skittish bobby decided to cut and run. Eventually i got used to him running away whenever cynthia came near. She was also very strict with us girls and we had a hard time under her yelling and stuff.

When we lead the horses up to the areana, debbie's santana kept scratching itself until the bit came off. He then proceeded to rear up, trash about and pull himself away from debbie. Debbie held on at first, until he reared up again and she let go of the reins. Whee! the horse staggered backwards and slammed into the fence and lay on the ground motionless.

At the same time i had to calm the scardy cat bobby who was convinced what santana was after him. Crazy thing as so strong! Dragged me along and kicked non stop till santana was motionless. How i managed to watch the whole event with such a horse ill never know. So yeah... Cynthia rushed to the horse and undid the girth and everything and calmed the horse and scolded debbie for goodness knows what. Poor girl didn't get to ride the entire lesson because her horse now had an injured leg

Tiki also attacked bobby. >.< Recap. I was riding a skittish horse who was being attacked once in a while and and ran sideways everytime the instructor came. Not a pretty sight. Aside from that, all was okay except that bobby was stubborn so i had to kick him really hard. My legs are still hurting from that.

I want another horse for my next lesson

Gargh! The drilling is not stoping anytime soon... i'd be deaf by the end of this renovation. WHY DO THEY USE LIKE 7 DRILLS AT ONE SHOT!!! It's so bad that i can feel the vibrations even when i am walking. Between this and freezing in the pool, i'd choose the pool. Thats why i'm going swimming again later too escape the noise

Great... my head is about to burst. Ever time the drill throbs it's as though someone just punched me in the face. Over and over and over and over again. Worse still, they brought in a NEW machine which is EVEN LOUDER and you can actually see my phone sliding off the table from the vibrations! Oh my head and my ears

I can't take this anymore... i'm going to try sleep everything off til it's time to swim

Picture this... A bright sunny tuesday morning, 10am. A girl is soundly asleep from staying up til late last night. All is quiet. Suddenly, 5 drills start at the same time, from the apartment above.

Ah yes... the pain indeed. Not one, not two, but FIVE!!! Stupid neighbours keep on renovating their house at least once every two years. WHAT IS YOUR DEAL?! So i cracked open a sleepy eye and decided to leave the room. Surprise surprise! I was greeted with an even Louder noise. More drills! Slammed the door shut and hid under the pillow and covers

Eternity passed and finally lunch time came... ah... they finally had some sense to stop.

Went swimming with yihui as well. Not exactly swimming, we drifted around for a long time and then hopped into the jacuzzi to talk some more. The wind was blowing so hard that the moment i stuck my hand out of the jacuzzi, it froze. Really! When we left the place my fingers were all numb and had a hard time putting on my stuff. Brrr... it's cold just thinking of it.

Whee! Christmas is coming in like 5 days time!!!

Yihui mel and i went to orchard together today to do some very late shopping. My list is not even half done yet =S Anyway we took neoprints and half the time i didn't know what was going on.

So yeah... spent the whole day trying to find stuff to buy. in the end i only bought one item. So anyway, after we had figured out what to buy for who, we stopped to have gilato ice creams at taka.

Sunday school was funny... the guys still have no idea how to pronounce my chinese name and so i wasn't called on =) The primary section were having the finals for the bible quiz so no work for me to do! I couldn't anyway, short sightedness sucks. Instead mel yihui vic joel yuwing edwin edward gavan and i (or rather half the class) were discussing about the bbq and such... I'm in charge of drinks! Whee!

So spent the whole time just yakkity yakking until 1230 when everyone had to go. Mom whisked me off to orchard where we had lunch. Eh... sushi again.

Headed on to wisma to get my hair chopped off =( Edwin cut it again and he did a good job i guess... i don't feel that bad about losing the 5 inches after all. He gave me a mirror to check my hair but since i couldn't see, it didn't really matter. My head feels lighter

Finally, i went to holland V to fix up my specs. Didn't take long, but aunty rose and aunty adeline were there and so were the crackers and sweets, so i sat there and chatted and ate with some other customers who were friendly enough to talk.

Do i like my new hairstyle? i think i do!

Went to visit Ethan (my nephew) today. His mom is overseas (my cousin) but he thinks she is at work. 0.0 Not too bright, this child. Well, i played with him until he decided to play on his own, and went to sit on the stairs. Soon enough, he came looking for me.

Mom wants me to chop off six inches of my hair... guess how long it is now

I just realised that christmas is coming... must must must must MUST remember to get all the presents and cards for everyone on my list. Which reminds me... i HAVEN'T got a list yet

Hahaha... one week has gone by and once again i'm on top of a horse =)

Went out for lunch at swensens today before going to the saddle club. I was more than an hour early 0.0 Anyway, i played with the horses abit until it started to rain and the horses and i all turned grumpy. The rain didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon.

So come four and we went to the stable office to find that sue wasn't going to be taking us this lesson but the guy we saw the other day... forgot his name already.

Anyway, this time i had a horse all to myself! He is CityGarden... tall, black and loves to kick. His mane is really short, so instead of drooping it stands up like a moehawk. Anyway, the kicking plus the rain plus a lesson in heaven (this sand pit) has got my shoes socks shirt and jeans all muddy and icky.

The other girls got smaller horses! Hahahahahaha......

nAyway, i'm tired. just came home

Today is my last piano lessons for the year! Mr quek gave me a pressie (which i have already opened anyway) and it's one of those cushions for your hands to rest on while you type and all that. OMG! It's so soft and furry!!! (its in the shape of a dog btw)

Yup, so anyway, i am supposed to remember at least two pieces from my concert book by the next lesson. Hmm... i can remember snips here and there, but the 11 pages of twinkle twinkle little star? Guess not.

Today is the first of many days which i have the computer all to myself.... wahahahaha.... bet sis is having a great time in australia. (i have a feeling you are reading this now so remember to get me a present!!!)

I have horseriding tomorrow, but somehow can't seem to sleep... toss and turn and run out to use the computer 0.o Oh well... wonder which horse i'll be using this time (locomotion... locomotion... locomotion... locomotion...)

john was teaching for sunday school today and as expected, it was hillarious! he did do a good job, but everyone was laughing most of the time. see what the lessons was like.

lmao! our sunday school class also had to prepare the drinks for the fellowship lunch. alot of things seem to fall into the drink container... eeps. and they put their hands into the drink too! :s as expected, i didn't drink any of it after watching how it was done

the primary school section was having bible quiz today and gosh, those questions were so easy!!! i was invigilating for fun and had a fun time watching them ponder on why angels appeared to joseph. halfway through the marking of scripts i sneaked out to talk. i was the only one not eating, bah

anyway, sis had a haircut from edwin again

slept last night at 3 plus... i don't get to see mornings much anymore. i have become an owl except for the fact that i still don't eat mice. so woke up this morning after a nice 9 hours of sleep and tickled my sis to wake her up. she gave a sleepy little whack at my hand and covered her face with the blanket. she's even more nocturnal than i am

so i dragged myself to the computer and chatted and mapled for a while... okay, three hours. then mom called to ask how i was doing (which was fine) and that she had to stay out until four. no worries, i continued to maple

when sis woke up mom came home and we fixed up another set of creme brulee... this time with ginger and cinamon!

some war thingie went on in this stumpy place on maple story... er, well. it was hilarious listening to the opposite sides going 'you don't be scared ah' and 'we'll be back tomorrow' and 'don't cry arh'. like a gang fight! the other side lost, thankfully. i wasn't much of a help anyway, those stumpies would take so little damage and i was 2 points short of using my new bow And was being bullied almost everywhere i went 0.o grr... so hard to train up an archer

the forum is 2 months old and thriving! i have been promoted to a gobal mod like Vex. whee! such fun... i have an additional admin link on the top to change member groups. other new features are the kung fu (like fame) and a new private board for yr 3s only.

Woke up early today... 8am! Mom practically had to drag me out of bed because i slept at two last night, day dreaming and not sleeping.

So well, sis and i went over to Ahmah's place and we saw Aunty jeanette's baby wenxi! Oh my gosh she was just soooo adorable! She had the most beautiful eyes that sparkles when she gives a happy chuckle. And she kept grabbing my fingers and stuffing them in her mouth. it was so funy!

We spent the time talking to my grandmother while the baby slept. My teochew is going down the drain... takes me a while to register a few words to utter out

So anyway we had lunch which was bee hoon. i didn't really like it, but didn't like the idea of turning down the food (after saying how hungry i was) so i helped myself to what i considered was a reasonably good amount for a hungry person. oh gosh... it was sooo filling

So dad took my sis and i to the amara hotel while he talked to some people he let my sis and i do some shopping. eurgh! of all things she had to look at swimwear. i like the bathrobe though, looked really nice

After running up and down looking at the most ridiculous things we went over to have coffee and cakes at the coffee house below. i had a chocolate and mint blend with a brownie while sis had a caramel and an opera. i liked mine better. dad came in half way and we headed for holland village

We popped in to alot of places like zed and zees and whatnots til it was pretty late and we bought some ingredients for dinner. I can't cook so i shall not comment on this.

When we came home dad was making us help cook. two things. i can't cook and i don't eat til i'm hungry. it was 4! FOUR!!! So no choice, just cook and shut up.

Dinner was at five. I felt positively sick after the meal... i have never stuffed so much food into myself before

No mood to maple, no computer to maple, and maple is down

Horse riding today! Ah yes, the long awaited day is here!

Dad drove me over to the saddle club and turned out that i was half an hour early... yikes... we headed to the office to do some payment thingie and there i met deborah, abby and cheryl, my classmates.

Well, our first instructor sue just did the basics with the horse Locomotion! He was a cool dude man, except for the fact that he lost one eye to the infection... so we did the saddling and what nots on him and he was just so sweet

Our second instructor was Sandra let us play with Patch the pony. She (patch) was really really really strong and i had to wrestle with her to stop her from eating grass. the younger girls however, weren't as strong and patch ate her way through.

Dinner was pasta!

Yes i did meet this legendary jane goodall! yay! i don't sound convincing do i? really, i did go for one of her talks today

went to the NUS block 16 today to meet up with the rest. saw yu heng, deborah, the jenkin guy, lip tong and alot alot of year ones. oh gosh, we were the oldest there!

so yeah, the thing was highly inspirational except no visual stimuli. i had an autograph too!

Haha... so that's where i was headed this morning and left you all hanging on messanger... really... i did put up an away sign!

Hmmm... i reached outram earlier than expected and just walked around until bryan came and then we set off for SGH. ken, who came up with the bright idea of meeting at 0930 hrs was still on the mrt!!!

So after a long long wait, ken finally came. bryan's aunt brought us around and let us look at how they prepared slides of chromosome samples from prenatal women and cancer patients. It was very similar to the one we did with glowy bacteria! And there was this book full of pictures and stuff about people born with defective chromosomes

Come lunchtime ken went off to find his mom and bryan and i went to see how they split and organise the chromosomes on the computer. Turned out that ken was patiently waiting for us for 20 minutes!!!

Ken's mom treated me to lunch and there was noodles and iced tea. So nice! The adults talked about work and kids and the three of us talked about church camps. Ah, so many ideas flowing it was impossible to hear who was saying what. lol.

After lunch we had more energy and played and talked alot more. (violent games!) well, we went on so continue seeing how all the stuff was collected, the fixatives and stuff added to discolour the chromosomes.

It was so fun looking through the microscopes they have there because it's so many times more powerful than the one at home! Oh and we had to put oil on the slides too. We spent abit of time trying our hand at identifying the chromosomes, with the help of a chart of course.

By and by we started playing those word games like the around the world in 80 days. i had to do nearly 3 rounds before i found out the answer! oh! the pain! i was just so totally clueless due to some answers from ken. grr. 'and where are You going jac?'

So took the MRT home and listened to bryan trying to fish stuff from ken =)

I actually woke up at 7 this morning without the help of an alarm clock... miraculous

I need to do this more often

Then i won't be needing a clock for next year

The NUSH site is now ready for students to make their selection

I'm meeting up with a couple of friends in a while

Been busy shopping for anna kate's family's presents because sis will be staying at their place for 3 weeks and a bit. Christmas in australia! Spent 5 whole long hours on my feet in a crowded shopping mall with ample supply of carbon dioxide to kill anyone. Sis is staying over pat's house tonight. I believe today is that boring

The historical date was here! Dec 4th!

Yeah... i couldn't really get much sleep last night so i read a magazine and settled myself in a nice position and by and by i was getting drowsy and went to bed. And my very considerate sister refused to switch off the lights and let me have a decent nights rest. Grr. Anyway, she had to sleep sooner or later because she has her SAT II today. Hahahahahahahaha...........

So i woke up at nine to go online and check who was there and lo and behold i wasn't the first to awake. okay fine, nine isn't exactly early for anyone but me. ken was there and he had not slept the whole night and so was pretty much on and off with his responses. Finally he dozed off.

I was very early. I signed my name, took my stuff and stood around and waited for my mom. i bet she got lost somewhere because she was very long in coming. Just as she came to look at my stuff bryan came, eyes glued to the handphone screen. I was so tempted to sneak up from behind. After that ken came sleepy eyed yawning and whatnots. It was just so funny the whole picture. We went into the hall to wait til i got impatient and hopped about. saw roy about to call me (which won't work because i left my phone at home) and dragged him in as well. never got to see grace, not one bit.

So there was this presentation in the front of the lecture and there were pictures of my group... gah... it's always that picture again and again and again and again. Well, roy was worse off because he appeared not once, not twice but about 8 times!!! I laughed til my sides hurt and face red.

So the rest of the lecture was just spent listening and passing comments and laughing. There are like a gabazillion choices so i'll definitely cram as much bio as i can get. HAHAHAHA.... no social studies!!!!!! The have marine biology too... Whee!!! I'm in seventh heaven or cloud nine... whichever is nicer

Then they showed us the uniforms which were so cool. No need to tuck in anything at all! Whoot!!! Ken was laughing at the girls' PE shorts, saying they looked like underwear til they said it was for guys too. Lol... They guys get to wear berms and polo top for casual wear and the girls have polo tops and this pants with a flap in front to look like a skirt. don't ask me to spell it. For formal occations it's just a blouse to go with it. The PE attire is a shirt and pants for girls and tank top for guys.

After the briefing i saw roy's sister ros! Whee! She looked really young. Anyway, she wants tosome to NUSH so this is one junior i will know bfore hand. Hahahah.... Then, we went to see this math teacher of bryans and kens. He looks young too, but in a different way from ros of course. So just chit chat about stuff and yar.

After that i had lunch at the canteen. It was, uh, bad

Haha... the title was taken off gurmit, i know.

Haha... ken called me last night because he was at camp to ask me who won. Wasn't time yet and it was way way way too noisy over the phone so i went like 'what???' a few times. Finally when the results came out i told him the news and he yelled into the phone 'TAUFIK WON' and then a whole lot of people started cheering and screaming and the phone actually went fuzzy. Cheers to a dynamic camp group of taufik supporters

I don't believe it... half the holiday has whizzed by, better grab some time to do something nice. Dec 4 is coming! Whee! Finally get the answers to alot of questions on the NUSH Metropolis. I really must remember to add a link sometime. Which reminds me, it is down... *sobs*

Haha! Another nice thing to add, with some help from roy, the two of us signed up for maple story yesterday. (my second time because my first acount was seriously screwed up) Not nice tobe reduced to a noob, but, roy is at the same level as i am so i am contented. Hahaha... Cheers to a rosy 12 levels in a day!
