Ah yes... the amount of homework is, unbelievable. I stayed up til 3am this morn to complete the homework and did every thing but chem. Which was due first lesson. How screwed up is that? Well, managed to get an extension til tomorrow so i'm pretty free at the mo. but not mapling cause, well, the pentium 4 is hogged by sis.

Ah... this marks the end of yet another long week at school. All my energy is draining off too fast >.<

So yeah... today's first period was geography 3, which i didn't take so i went to the hall to watch ken and jojo during PE. Lol... reminds me of the time ken was wearing a girl's PE shorts XD So yeah, we were all rushing our physics and i realised i was the only idiot who went home and tried to complete the whole darn thing

For english we had to do grammar which was like super super boring and the teacher was speaking so quickly and softly i nearly fell asleep afew times. After english there was yet another break for us to rush even more physics are just stone away the time XD Oh Mr Soh wanted a synopsis about the Nian thingie cause, wonders of wonders, we made it past the audits!!! Wahahaha

Hmm... for mentoring session we had some house thingie where we got to vote for the house captains and as expected, ROY WAS FLEMMING CAPT!!! Charmaine and Mikel were capt for Nobel, like duh. Nat and i are eh... paperwork people

Choir today was just random stuff since our instructor wasn't around and we got dismissed early! So we all went to play truth or dare at the grandstand XD Jono came while aiwei was pole dancing around the flagpole! So yeah... we played til Miss Norizan came and told us off for jono not getting a visitors pass. Like hello? I bet jono's the FIRST to use the vistors pass because NO ONE has ever come before so like she really shouldn't be telling us off! Oh well, it could be worse

oh yes... we got to play with sheep's heart for bio! Wahaha... it was like so cool poking and prodding the heart! And i had such a fun time grossing roy out about how the heart coul part of the patty in macdonalds happy meal XD Ah well, they were all frozen so half the fun of teasing a warm oozy substance was lost

I was grouped with daniel samuel and yee lyn and we were happily cutting up the heart and poking at all the blood vessels. Unable to decide which *bleep*ing hole was the aorta, i stuck my finger up one chamber and proceeded to attempt to gross daniel out

We also got to do the ECG thingie, and my heartbeat was insane XD Heh... there was no proper QRS complex and in it's place was some inverted peak =)

As it is, i might as well abandon my lovely maple story account. Got no chance to play at all! I have been level 31 since the start of the school year believe it or not. 5 mins here and there is so NOT enough.

Anyway, on saturday morning went for the ESIP test. Jojo came along although she didn't have to take the test, to give moral support. so nice!!! I TOOK THE TEST BEFORE!!! but like, i never got to see the answer so, yeah. makes hardly any difference. aside from the fact that i can remember some of the answers from the last time i did it, easier ones to be sure

After the test was done, which was like really early, we trooped off to the LT to wait. The doors were locked lor! So we stood outside like a flock of mindless sheep until some teacher came to our rescue and opened up the LT via the other door >.< Stayed in there and played cards and shared stupid jokes

After that was done genie, captain, jen and i went over to ikea to check out the prices for the furniture in the student lounge. sigh... they should give us a billion dollar budget then we can do whatever we like. but then it's only for a year so, bleah. AND THEY KEEP THE LOUNGE LOCKED ALL THE TIME!!! HOW TO GET MEASUREMENTS!

Gah, back to where i was. Sky and jojo came to join us while we were eating lunch at BK. Spent the afternoon bouncing on couches and hogging the catalog

Went home at around 5 o clock to see my mom and sis off, who were supposedly going to catch a movie. Sigh... barely did half a physics qn then have to leave the house again for barbecue. It's not like it's going to be more interesting than homework >.<

I was proved correct when yihui and the rest were busy staying outside of the room while i joined shuhui and melvin and anthony inside. Finally i took out a pack of cards and it became more bearable. Joined kai yang and matthew and irene for some weird drinking game til it was time to go.

Yesterday was grandma's birthday!!! Dada took sis and i to ahmah's house for dinner

When we went there there was this huge gabazillion course dinner on the table. Oh all three aunties were there, ahmah was there, aunty jeanette and baby wenxi were there too!!! the other 2 cousins were there too so >.< (they were hogging dada's computer and made it crash!!! oh the pain...)

Anyway, dada was soo funny during meal times. because there was so many people, he chased away those two to the living room along with some other people so the dining area was quiet and all the food was there too! the other table ate, uh, our leftovers!

The first few dishes were as usual, the cold platter, veggies and light stuff. The duck was nice, actually the sauce was, so i helped myself. Ahhh... so addictive. Dada plucked up this huge chunk of meat and declared it the pig's head and teased it til my xiao-gu looked completely grossed out. Oh well, he ate it anyway.

The second set of dishes had this plate with more meat. Part of it was not cut of properly and dada pounced on it at once and once more played with his food XD He stretched the first bit, squashed the second and proundly showed it off to everyone as a pigeon! Poor er-gu actually thought he was serious... lol.

On the same plate also had these thingies speared with toothpicks. dada once more solemnly told everyone that was an eel's stomach >.< After stuffing the thing into his mouth with the whole table waiting for his comments, he made a face and said 'its taste like veggietubbles' 0.0!

Now the whole table was properly warmed up and everyone was discussing what the various dishes were. (really, the sauce and decorations hide every clue to what the dish might once have been) in the middle of the whole big discussion, dada suddenly said 'aiyoh! don't talk so much! eat your food!' the moment those words were uttered everyone was like 'hello? who was the one who started all this?'

Haha... the whole dinner was very nice indeed, and before the end of it all everyone was feeling so full. So many nice courses like sharks fin!

Dessert was served at the living room. Some lychee thingie that can beat an ice cream craving anyday. Dada bribed his way into wenxi's good books by feeding her his share XD (after dinner that poor thing couldn't sleep because she was on a sugar high, lol) The cake was last, of course. mmm... mango

stayed up til late last night without even doing any homework at all >.< woke up feeling unproductive and, well, tired. mom chased me off to wash up and visit Dr Lee because i need to collect my new set of retainers. my old ones look pathetic from all my biting.

went to collect my scholarship too, such a waste of time. can you imagine going through the names of everyone in the hall? if they want to give money they could always mail it over! anyway, grace was in the NUSH uniform and i was feeling pretty -.-ish from my own stupidity. andre was there too! (as in andre from 3-5) couldn't recognise him at first because he missed so many days of school >.< whee!!! i feel so rich

The way home was suay. I seem to be attracting all the cars like a huge electromagnet. Every single time i cross the road there would be a car swerving up, come to a screeching halt and honking madly at me. I had crossed the road about 7 times in total. Of course, fortunate soul that i am, i escaped untouched... from six of them. that's right, the last stupid bugger got me.

Today is my grandmother's birthday!!! I'll be going off for dinner in, 2 minutes

ooh...this week has been a hard one, hope the next will be better. dad has come home! it's good because, well, i get to see him! but it means i will have to surrender my phone since i'm using his line >.<

the student lounge has to be done by chinese new year!!! ahhh!!! so fast! there was supposed to be a meet up at 1.30 today but only 5 people went to the right place at the rigt time so there was another make shift one after that at the track. the room design is roughly done up now (thankfully), just needs very little touching up. the others were thinking of a fundraising! so cool!

Anyway, there wasn't any classes at all today! Haha... only literature, but i don't take literature!

So first lesson was PE. We had to do 2 round of the track! So much! So yeah, watch the guys run run run so fast in front and i joined charmaine in jogging right at the back of the rest. eurgh, where do they get all their energy from?

After doing all the running we went back to the hall to play badminton! the coach was so super extremely good in badminton! haha... i actually beat him like a few times (though i bet he gave way because i was a student) ken came to join at the third period because he didn't have any class

the principals talk was only 25 minutes, so i stole the rest of the hour to talk to those who were helping out in setting up the year 3 lounge

mentoring session was fun fun fun! i was so freaked out when the teacher came into the class and said 'is there a girl called tse yin in here?' then mom suddenly popped up to get the house keys from me because she was locked out -.-

after school ken and roy went to the park with me to teach me how to sing properly because i am in choir and i don't know how to sing! so with ken's book of church songs we sat down and sang and played for four hours, and drank a whole lot of water

Today is tuesday, i am tired.

Anyway, sis woke me up like super duper early so she could walk me all the way to school. 0.o Had to bring two textbooks! So yeah, i went back to sleep and mom drove me to school later on

When i got to school the rest were there already just sitting around and playing cards so i join in for a game or two.

oh the stuent lounge thing is finally going to come about! haha... we all get to choose how we want the room to be furnished and decorated. whee! well, the was only place for 17 helpers so not everyone's names could fit in. wanted to get a form from mr lim but he went home!!!

Anyway, i got into choir. i'm really not kidding... i didn't even have to sing or anything! they just put my name there and i was in! ahhh!!! turns out that kai hui ken roy and bryan all got in too!

Went to the playground after school and jono was there again! We uh played truth or dare until it was quite late, and just as we were about to go jojo and the rest came! ahhhh!!! couldn't talk much =( Nevermind... tomorrow still got school!

spent yesterday and today attempting the evil chem tutorial and chucking it aside after reading the question. eurgh. i wonder how i will make it through the year.

sunday school had 3 classes combining! shuhui's, eunice's and my class merged for the week because the other two teachers weren't around in church. poor mellie. she kept trying to break her pen i bet her hands are full of blisters. there wasn't any class, just a few rounds of taboo! sis wanted to come for lessons but she left the moment she heard about the merge. eee!

the primary school section didn't have class either and spent the day playing whacko. lucky kids.

with nothing to do i dragged my evil chem tutorial to the church office and waylaid everyone who came in. No one knew anything!!! AhhhhhH!!!

School starts tomorrow! Chem test! double Aaaaahhhhh!!!

Aah... one long week has gone by, and sis is now home to stay >.<

The first lesson was a free period! So i went with bryan and jen to the hall to do homework (more like fill out some chinese thingie) and laugh at ken in a girl's PE shorts. Jen bought new pink coloured laces and he went over to ask Mrs Phang if he could wear them and she said no! lol... awww...

Second lesson was english and the teacher was *drumroll* Miss Phang! She's as strict as the chem teacher! The lesson was spent in some get to know you activities which are much better than homework at any rate. She overtalked, or rather let us over talk, for 15 mins, leaving us with 5 minutes break! AhhhhH!!! Haha... 3rd lessons was free!

Spent the 3rd lesson playing badminton in the hall with bryan and ken. Eee... so long never play... play like a tortoise... cannot hit anything

There was no mentoring session in groups, only some talk in the LT for any of us yr 3s who feel sec 2 school sick. hmm... i'm so happy to be in NUSH i haven't given much thought to that? trust in the powers of the internet!

The last lesson was physics! Ahahaha... the teacher is almost as interesting as the chinese teacher. whee! again we had to answer what physics was to us. hmm... science?

Once that was over we were free to leave the school! Went with deb bryan and ken to meet jono and darren at jelita. darren was from henry park, but somehow i can't remember ever seeing him =s still, the food was good (pizza!) and it was really fun. walked to the park for more spinning and lame games!

The timetable can now come into use!

Woke up earlier today so went to school earlier today. Eurgh... my bag is so heavy. Saw roy coming with the even heavier chem text which i had left at home on purpose. Apparently everyone was gahering in the canteen. Ken whipped out his handphone and played the recording of jojo's hyper yelling from yesterday and roy went purple!!!

anyway, today we line up according to our mentors and not our classes, so it was abit confusing. Anyway, after abit of moving around we all got it right. They finally got a recording of the national anthem and not have Dr Wong play the keyboard. heh... i liked the playing better!

the first lesson was chemistry... bryan is the chem rep!!! haha... the chem teacher is like frightening, he was so fierce and wanted us to do alot of text reading. thank goodness my nice mentor provided the whole class with notes. THANK YOU!!!

second class was math. the teacher was so sweet! she let us just do some intro qns and we can talk all we wanted. then she called our names and we had to talk about the person we were gablahing to. i saboed roy!!!

i didn't have music 1 lessons, so we trooped off to stand around and talk and what not. went to help out carrying stuff to the library then strolled to the canteen to hear jen rush roy to finish eating. lol

after the break was chinese! it was supposed to be in CCR1 but then there was a change in timetables, so there was like 3-5, 1-5 and 3-1/4 corwding around classroom 2-9! I am fated to be in this classroom. they lost the fight. 3-5 got the classroom!!!

during lunch bryan roy jen capt and i went to swing swing swing at the centrifugish thingie at the play ground. ssssssooooo fun!!! when we came back we bought drinks, and jen tricked roy into believing that my drink was his and the uncle short changed him. then roy went to tell the uncle who gave back two buck and so we had our money back plus the drinks! finally we got the stuff sorted out, and roy was purple again.

math second class was boring. zzz. we had to fight against another class for 2-9 and we won again!

bryan could go home once class was done! ahhh! lucky!!! jen and i sat at the porch steps and waited with him for his parents to pick him up, talking about random stuff. there as this guy who had some stuff to carry up the stairs and we helped him!!! the donation box stands at $7

music was nice? it's the only class i have with ken i think. the video was sleepyish. thank goodness we were dismissed one hour early. w00t!!!

Aigh... today is the last day of orientation. It was fun!

First thing in the morning i went over to check my mentor groups (which i will be stuck in for the next 4 years to come including '05) and bryan and jojo and sam were in my group!!! AHHHHH!!! I'm so happy!

So yeah, we broke off into our mentor groups and i was in class 2-9. ken and jen were in 2-10, next to me. we introed ourselves to the group by placing an adj. infront of our names that start with the same letter. I was jovial jacque!

We also got our timetable. Guess what... I'M IN THE SAME CLASS AS BRYAN ROY AND JENKIN!!!!!!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! SO HAPPIER!!!! Ken and jojo are in class 3-3, lol *poke poke*

Break time was not worth noting. Just the usual wandering around school blah blah blar

Then there was the CCA exhibition... i know some people are going to die laughing fron this, but i actually chose choir for my first choice!!!

Then there was the uh, presentation of the group item. It was okay? The audience was being very nice by clapping and cheering for everyone (even though our presentation clearly sucked) as expected, bryan's group won (foolscap paper!)

Once the presentation was done we went to this mercy relief place to help the people affectetd by the tsunami. Ken was in my group this time. Got to know this two new people called uh, sky and stef. (sky's name is so niiiiiiice!)

When we got there we set about making boxes, stacking boxes, sorting clothes and putting clothes in the boxes. Lu Xi and i raced to see who made the cardboard boxes faster. The captain just sat there doing nothing but take pictures and drink diet coke!!!The boxes were done first so jojo and i went ovr to sort clothes. jojo rejected about 70% of all the clothes!

When we came back we were all feeling pretty tired out. ken jen jojo deb and i walked to the jelita bus stop but as we passed the playground i remembered jen promised to let me play the spinny thing so we hopped in. SO FUN! the world is blurring!

After a fully exhausting the fun from the playground we crawled to jelita for slurpees. Jojo stood on the overhead bridge and screamed out 'ROY I LOVE YOU!!!' ahahahahaha

ah yes... update i shall! today is the second day of school!

today we assembled in the parade square (a flat piece of land that might have been a carpark or just extra space) and we had toline up according to our HOUSES! NOOOO!!!! So yeah... line up with grace and deborah who i am profoundly glad are in Nobel. The national anthem was played on the keyboard (with the person hitting the wrong notes twice and stopping completely in the middle!) I almost burst out laughing if not for grace next to me who valiantly tried to look serious.

We went to the freezing LT again. Apparently they didn't announce for us to sit in houses, so i hopped over to the other end of the LT and sat with ken bryan and roy to yakkity yak. It was only after we sat down that they asked the student helpers to count those in the houses. I bet the thing was screwed up because everyone was randomly sitting too.

The teachers went over some subject stuff, about how people took too many subjects. I took just enough (additional subject for fun) so i should be okay. They also ran through the school rules like we were some little children with no common sense. It's even up there on the net!!!

Break time was spent wandering around again, since the queue in the cantee was horrendously long.

After the break we split into houses again. Whee! everything is in houses now.

We had this very common signature collecting game like all other orientations so i was a nice girl and signed for almost everything. So yeah, we played scavenger hunt too, where no one was allowed to talk or delink from each other. The girl behind grabbed my wrist so hard it's still red now. So we ran around blindly trying to find the different places around the school.

There was a tie for third place for red 1, 2 and green 2 i think. the had this chain making thing where the first team to lie down would get the third prize. Red 2 won the first time round but everyone was complaining so there was a rematch. Red 1 won in the end.

Hah... Rina bought all the Green Tree(rs) a drink! SO NICE!!!

The last thing for the day would be the presentation. They decided to go with the stompish thingie. Gah... the thing is soooo noisy and everyone was just banging away not listening to anything or anyone else. Bit by bit it was organised but there were still people sitting around, refusing to participate -.- Its not we don't want to include you! You should come forward with whatever ideas you have ot just CLAP!

So bang away for quite abit we did. The thing now ends with some fly kite bit from our cheer. Ooh... the embarrassment awaits

Once school ended i checked my handphone and presto there was a missed call from ken who sent word that roy and him had left the school early >.< Just wandered about until i saw bryan still performing so i stayed to watch. jen and his friend were there (i can't possibly remember her name now unfortunately) so we watched and blardiblarblar for like hours

When the red group moved into the LT we decided to walk to jelita bus stop. Eee... get sweaty all over again. Checked out the playground at henry park and it was wet *sob sob*

Tomorrow will get time table, mentor and some thing to help the people affected by the tsunami

AhAhAhA!!! today was absolute fun!

Reached school at 730 hoping that i wont get lost. Turned out i wasn't going to be lost because EVERYONE was just standing around! Met up with ken and bryan and grace and roy and liptong and deborah and yeah, you get the idea.

The first item was the ear drums blasting lion dance. I didn't really see a point in that bit (other than the opening of our school) but it does get boring to watch two people hiding under costumes and hopping around the stage. The nice part came in when Prof Lai joined in with a big doll head and walked around the stage fanning himself!

So yeah, as expected, there was a talk by the prof and one minute of silence for the victims of the tsunami. Then we all filed out of the hall for a lecture by a guest speaker

The lecturer was Dr Sow, talking about nanotechnology. Whee! The LT was freezing! Most of what he said was learnt before and he wasn't boring at all, so the lecture was pretty cool. He also had alot of corny punch lines but i suppose it's better than going on and on and on and on and on... ...

After that we were split into houses. I'm in the same house as grace, deborah, jenkin, lei lei and nat i think. Haha... we got to name our houses! The other houses had names starting with F (lik Faraday and Flemming) and our house had to be extra and call ourselves Nobel XD . Roy, liptong, ken and the three other crescentians got into the blue house flemming. So lucky

There was afew games to get us to bond together as a group like making a nice long line of items and arranging ourselves according to b'day. pretty usual and all that. we also had to come up with a performance to entertain our 4 principals this coming friday i think.

Bought the culottes and tried on ken's longs. It was pretty loose around the waist but other than that it was perfect!!! AHAHAHAHA!!! Gah, should have let him try on culottes

I was grouped with daniel samuel and yee lyn and we were happily cutting up the heart and poking at all the blood vessels. Unable to decide which *bleep*ing hole was the aorta, i stuck my finger up one chamber and proceeded to attempt to gross daniel out

We also got to do the ECG thingie, and my heartbeat was insane XD Heh... there was no proper QRS complex and in it's place was some inverted peak =)

As it is, i might as well abandon my lovely maple story account. Got no chance to play at all! I have been level 31 since the start of the school year believe it or not. 5 mins here and there is so NOT enough.

Anyway, on saturday morning went for the ESIP test. Jojo came along although she didn't have to take the test, to give moral support. so nice!!! I TOOK THE TEST BEFORE!!! but like, i never got to see the answer so, yeah. makes hardly any difference. aside from the fact that i can remember some of the answers from the last time i did it, easier ones to be sure

After the test was done, which was like really early, we trooped off to the LT to wait. The doors were locked lor! So we stood outside like a flock of mindless sheep until some teacher came to our rescue and opened up the LT via the other door >.< Stayed in there and played cards and shared stupid jokes

After that was done genie, captain, jen and i went over to ikea to check out the prices for the furniture in the student lounge. sigh... they should give us a billion dollar budget then we can do whatever we like. but then it's only for a year so, bleah. AND THEY KEEP THE LOUNGE LOCKED ALL THE TIME!!! HOW TO GET MEASUREMENTS!

Gah, back to where i was. Sky and jojo came to join us while we were eating lunch at BK. Spent the afternoon bouncing on couches and hogging the catalog

Went home at around 5 o clock to see my mom and sis off, who were supposedly going to catch a movie. Sigh... barely did half a physics qn then have to leave the house again for barbecue. It's not like it's going to be more interesting than homework >.<

I was proved correct when yihui and the rest were busy staying outside of the room while i joined shuhui and melvin and anthony inside. Finally i took out a pack of cards and it became more bearable. Joined kai yang and matthew and irene for some weird drinking game til it was time to go.

Yesterday was grandma's birthday!!! Dada took sis and i to ahmah's house for dinner

When we went there there was this huge gabazillion course dinner on the table. Oh all three aunties were there, ahmah was there, aunty jeanette and baby wenxi were there too!!! the other 2 cousins were there too so >.< (they were hogging dada's computer and made it crash!!! oh the pain...)

Anyway, dada was soo funny during meal times. because there was so many people, he chased away those two to the living room along with some other people so the dining area was quiet and all the food was there too! the other table ate, uh, our leftovers!

The first few dishes were as usual, the cold platter, veggies and light stuff. The duck was nice, actually the sauce was, so i helped myself. Ahhh... so addictive. Dada plucked up this huge chunk of meat and declared it the pig's head and teased it til my xiao-gu looked completely grossed out. Oh well, he ate it anyway.

The second set of dishes had this plate with more meat. Part of it was not cut of properly and dada pounced on it at once and once more played with his food XD He stretched the first bit, squashed the second and proundly showed it off to everyone as a pigeon! Poor er-gu actually thought he was serious... lol.

On the same plate also had these thingies speared with toothpicks. dada once more solemnly told everyone that was an eel's stomach >.< After stuffing the thing into his mouth with the whole table waiting for his comments, he made a face and said 'its taste like veggietubbles' 0.0!

Now the whole table was properly warmed up and everyone was discussing what the various dishes were. (really, the sauce and decorations hide every clue to what the dish might once have been) in the middle of the whole big discussion, dada suddenly said 'aiyoh! don't talk so much! eat your food!' the moment those words were uttered everyone was like 'hello? who was the one who started all this?'

Haha... the whole dinner was very nice indeed, and before the end of it all everyone was feeling so full. So many nice courses like sharks fin!

Dessert was served at the living room. Some lychee thingie that can beat an ice cream craving anyday. Dada bribed his way into wenxi's good books by feeding her his share XD (after dinner that poor thing couldn't sleep because she was on a sugar high, lol) The cake was last, of course. mmm... mango

Haha... dada is such fun, i'm gonna miss him when he goes back to vietnam

ooh... yes... this is the last time i will ever wear the crescent uniform (thank goodness)

stayed up til late last night without even doing any homework at all >.< woke up feeling unproductive and, well, tired. mom chased me off to wash up and visit Dr Lee because i need to collect my new set of retainers. my old ones look pathetic from all my biting.

went to collect my scholarship too, such a waste of time. can you imagine going through the names of everyone in the hall? if they want to give money they could always mail it over! anyway, grace was in the NUSH uniform and i was feeling pretty -.-ish from my own stupidity. andre was there too! (as in andre from 3-5) couldn't recognise him at first because he missed so many days of school >.< whee!!! i feel so rich

The way home was suay. I seem to be attracting all the cars like a huge electromagnet. Every single time i cross the road there would be a car swerving up, come to a screeching halt and honking madly at me. I had crossed the road about 7 times in total. Of course, fortunate soul that i am, i escaped untouched... from six of them. that's right, the last stupid bugger got me.

Today is my grandmother's birthday!!! I'll be going off for dinner in, 2 minutes

ooh...this week has been a hard one, hope the next will be better. dad has come home! it's good because, well, i get to see him! but it means i will have to surrender my phone since i'm using his line >.<

the student lounge has to be done by chinese new year!!! ahhh!!! so fast! there was supposed to be a meet up at 1.30 today but only 5 people went to the right place at the rigt time so there was another make shift one after that at the track. the room design is roughly done up now (thankfully), just needs very little touching up. the others were thinking of a fundraising! so cool!

Anyway, there wasn't any classes at all today! Haha... only literature, but i don't take literature!

So first lesson was PE. We had to do 2 round of the track! So much! So yeah, watch the guys run run run so fast in front and i joined charmaine in jogging right at the back of the rest. eurgh, where do they get all their energy from?

After doing all the running we went back to the hall to play badminton! the coach was so super extremely good in badminton! haha... i actually beat him like a few times (though i bet he gave way because i was a student) ken came to join at the third period because he didn't have any class

the principals talk was only 25 minutes, so i stole the rest of the hour to talk to those who were helping out in setting up the year 3 lounge

mentoring session was fun fun fun! i was so freaked out when the teacher came into the class and said 'is there a girl called tse yin in here?' then mom suddenly popped up to get the house keys from me because she was locked out -.-

after school ken and roy went to the park with me to teach me how to sing properly because i am in choir and i don't know how to sing! so with ken's book of church songs we sat down and sang and played for four hours, and drank a whole lot of water

Today is tuesday, i am tired.

Anyway, sis woke me up like super duper early so she could walk me all the way to school. 0.o Had to bring two textbooks! So yeah, i went back to sleep and mom drove me to school later on

When i got to school the rest were there already just sitting around and playing cards so i join in for a game or two.

oh the stuent lounge thing is finally going to come about! haha... we all get to choose how we want the room to be furnished and decorated. whee! well, the was only place for 17 helpers so not everyone's names could fit in. wanted to get a form from mr lim but he went home!!!

Anyway, i got into choir. i'm really not kidding... i didn't even have to sing or anything! they just put my name there and i was in! ahhh!!! turns out that kai hui ken roy and bryan all got in too!

Went to the playground after school and jono was there again! We uh played truth or dare until it was quite late, and just as we were about to go jojo and the rest came! ahhhh!!! couldn't talk much =( Nevermind... tomorrow still got school!

spent yesterday and today attempting the evil chem tutorial and chucking it aside after reading the question. eurgh. i wonder how i will make it through the year.

sunday school had 3 classes combining! shuhui's, eunice's and my class merged for the week because the other two teachers weren't around in church. poor mellie. she kept trying to break her pen i bet her hands are full of blisters. there wasn't any class, just a few rounds of taboo! sis wanted to come for lessons but she left the moment she heard about the merge. eee!

the primary school section didn't have class either and spent the day playing whacko. lucky kids.

with nothing to do i dragged my evil chem tutorial to the church office and waylaid everyone who came in. No one knew anything!!! AhhhhhH!!!

School starts tomorrow! Chem test! double Aaaaahhhhh!!!

Aah... one long week has gone by, and sis is now home to stay >.<

The first lesson was a free period! So i went with bryan and jen to the hall to do homework (more like fill out some chinese thingie) and laugh at ken in a girl's PE shorts. Jen bought new pink coloured laces and he went over to ask Mrs Phang if he could wear them and she said no! lol... awww...

Second lesson was english and the teacher was *drumroll* Miss Phang! She's as strict as the chem teacher! The lesson was spent in some get to know you activities which are much better than homework at any rate. She overtalked, or rather let us over talk, for 15 mins, leaving us with 5 minutes break! AhhhhH!!! Haha... 3rd lessons was free!

Spent the 3rd lesson playing badminton in the hall with bryan and ken. Eee... so long never play... play like a tortoise... cannot hit anything

There was no mentoring session in groups, only some talk in the LT for any of us yr 3s who feel sec 2 school sick. hmm... i'm so happy to be in NUSH i haven't given much thought to that? trust in the powers of the internet!

The last lesson was physics! Ahahaha... the teacher is almost as interesting as the chinese teacher. whee! again we had to answer what physics was to us. hmm... science?

Once that was over we were free to leave the school! Went with deb bryan and ken to meet jono and darren at jelita. darren was from henry park, but somehow i can't remember ever seeing him =s still, the food was good (pizza!) and it was really fun. walked to the park for more spinning and lame games!

The timetable can now come into use!

Woke up earlier today so went to school earlier today. Eurgh... my bag is so heavy. Saw roy coming with the even heavier chem text which i had left at home on purpose. Apparently everyone was gahering in the canteen. Ken whipped out his handphone and played the recording of jojo's hyper yelling from yesterday and roy went purple!!!

anyway, today we line up according to our mentors and not our classes, so it was abit confusing. Anyway, after abit of moving around we all got it right. They finally got a recording of the national anthem and not have Dr Wong play the keyboard. heh... i liked the playing better!

the first lesson was chemistry... bryan is the chem rep!!! haha... the chem teacher is like frightening, he was so fierce and wanted us to do alot of text reading. thank goodness my nice mentor provided the whole class with notes. THANK YOU!!!

second class was math. the teacher was so sweet! she let us just do some intro qns and we can talk all we wanted. then she called our names and we had to talk about the person we were gablahing to. i saboed roy!!!

i didn't have music 1 lessons, so we trooped off to stand around and talk and what not. went to help out carrying stuff to the library then strolled to the canteen to hear jen rush roy to finish eating. lol

after the break was chinese! it was supposed to be in CCR1 but then there was a change in timetables, so there was like 3-5, 1-5 and 3-1/4 corwding around classroom 2-9! I am fated to be in this classroom. they lost the fight. 3-5 got the classroom!!!

during lunch bryan roy jen capt and i went to swing swing swing at the centrifugish thingie at the play ground. ssssssooooo fun!!! when we came back we bought drinks, and jen tricked roy into believing that my drink was his and the uncle short changed him. then roy went to tell the uncle who gave back two buck and so we had our money back plus the drinks! finally we got the stuff sorted out, and roy was purple again.

math second class was boring. zzz. we had to fight against another class for 2-9 and we won again!

bryan could go home once class was done! ahhh! lucky!!! jen and i sat at the porch steps and waited with him for his parents to pick him up, talking about random stuff. there as this guy who had some stuff to carry up the stairs and we helped him!!! the donation box stands at $7

music was nice? it's the only class i have with ken i think. the video was sleepyish. thank goodness we were dismissed one hour early. w00t!!!

went to the swings to play again like yesterday, only that jojo wasn't there... we were just too tired!

Aigh... today is the last day of orientation. It was fun!

First thing in the morning i went over to check my mentor groups (which i will be stuck in for the next 4 years to come including '05) and bryan and jojo and sam were in my group!!! AHHHHH!!! I'm so happy!

So yeah, we broke off into our mentor groups and i was in class 2-9. ken and jen were in 2-10, next to me. we introed ourselves to the group by placing an adj. infront of our names that start with the same letter. I was jovial jacque!

We also got our timetable. Guess what... I'M IN THE SAME CLASS AS BRYAN ROY AND JENKIN!!!!!!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! SO HAPPIER!!!! Ken and jojo are in class 3-3, lol *poke poke*

Break time was not worth noting. Just the usual wandering around school blah blah blar

Then there was the CCA exhibition... i know some people are going to die laughing fron this, but i actually chose choir for my first choice!!!

Then there was the uh, presentation of the group item. It was okay? The audience was being very nice by clapping and cheering for everyone (even though our presentation clearly sucked) as expected, bryan's group won (foolscap paper!)

Once the presentation was done we went to this mercy relief place to help the people affectetd by the tsunami. Ken was in my group this time. Got to know this two new people called uh, sky and stef. (sky's name is so niiiiiiice!)

When we got there we set about making boxes, stacking boxes, sorting clothes and putting clothes in the boxes. Lu Xi and i raced to see who made the cardboard boxes faster. The captain just sat there doing nothing but take pictures and drink diet coke!!!The boxes were done first so jojo and i went ovr to sort clothes. jojo rejected about 70% of all the clothes!

When we came back we were all feeling pretty tired out. ken jen jojo deb and i walked to the jelita bus stop but as we passed the playground i remembered jen promised to let me play the spinny thing so we hopped in. SO FUN! the world is blurring!

After a fully exhausting the fun from the playground we crawled to jelita for slurpees. Jojo stood on the overhead bridge and screamed out 'ROY I LOVE YOU!!!' ahahahahaha

ah yes... update i shall! today is the second day of school!

today we assembled in the parade square (a flat piece of land that might have been a carpark or just extra space) and we had toline up according to our HOUSES! NOOOO!!!! So yeah... line up with grace and deborah who i am profoundly glad are in Nobel. The national anthem was played on the keyboard (with the person hitting the wrong notes twice and stopping completely in the middle!) I almost burst out laughing if not for grace next to me who valiantly tried to look serious.

We went to the freezing LT again. Apparently they didn't announce for us to sit in houses, so i hopped over to the other end of the LT and sat with ken bryan and roy to yakkity yak. It was only after we sat down that they asked the student helpers to count those in the houses. I bet the thing was screwed up because everyone was randomly sitting too.

The teachers went over some subject stuff, about how people took too many subjects. I took just enough (additional subject for fun) so i should be okay. They also ran through the school rules like we were some little children with no common sense. It's even up there on the net!!!

Break time was spent wandering around again, since the queue in the cantee was horrendously long.

After the break we split into houses again. Whee! everything is in houses now.

We had this very common signature collecting game like all other orientations so i was a nice girl and signed for almost everything. So yeah, we played scavenger hunt too, where no one was allowed to talk or delink from each other. The girl behind grabbed my wrist so hard it's still red now. So we ran around blindly trying to find the different places around the school.

There was a tie for third place for red 1, 2 and green 2 i think. the had this chain making thing where the first team to lie down would get the third prize. Red 2 won the first time round but everyone was complaining so there was a rematch. Red 1 won in the end.

Hah... Rina bought all the Green Tree(rs) a drink! SO NICE!!!

The last thing for the day would be the presentation. They decided to go with the stompish thingie. Gah... the thing is soooo noisy and everyone was just banging away not listening to anything or anyone else. Bit by bit it was organised but there were still people sitting around, refusing to participate -.- Its not we don't want to include you! You should come forward with whatever ideas you have ot just CLAP!

So bang away for quite abit we did. The thing now ends with some fly kite bit from our cheer. Ooh... the embarrassment awaits

Once school ended i checked my handphone and presto there was a missed call from ken who sent word that roy and him had left the school early >.< Just wandered about until i saw bryan still performing so i stayed to watch. jen and his friend were there (i can't possibly remember her name now unfortunately) so we watched and blardiblarblar for like hours

When the red group moved into the LT we decided to walk to jelita bus stop. Eee... get sweaty all over again. Checked out the playground at henry park and it was wet *sob sob*

Tomorrow will get time table, mentor and some thing to help the people affected by the tsunami

AhAhAhA!!! today was absolute fun!

Reached school at 730 hoping that i wont get lost. Turned out i wasn't going to be lost because EVERYONE was just standing around! Met up with ken and bryan and grace and roy and liptong and deborah and yeah, you get the idea.

The first item was the ear drums blasting lion dance. I didn't really see a point in that bit (other than the opening of our school) but it does get boring to watch two people hiding under costumes and hopping around the stage. The nice part came in when Prof Lai joined in with a big doll head and walked around the stage fanning himself!

So yeah, as expected, there was a talk by the prof and one minute of silence for the victims of the tsunami. Then we all filed out of the hall for a lecture by a guest speaker

The lecturer was Dr Sow, talking about nanotechnology. Whee! The LT was freezing! Most of what he said was learnt before and he wasn't boring at all, so the lecture was pretty cool. He also had alot of corny punch lines but i suppose it's better than going on and on and on and on and on... ...

After that we were split into houses. I'm in the same house as grace, deborah, jenkin, lei lei and nat i think. Haha... we got to name our houses! The other houses had names starting with F (lik Faraday and Flemming) and our house had to be extra and call ourselves Nobel XD . Roy, liptong, ken and the three other crescentians got into the blue house flemming. So lucky

There was afew games to get us to bond together as a group like making a nice long line of items and arranging ourselves according to b'day. pretty usual and all that. we also had to come up with a performance to entertain our 4 principals this coming friday i think.

Bought the culottes and tried on ken's longs. It was pretty loose around the waist but other than that it was perfect!!! AHAHAHAHA!!! Gah, should have let him try on culottes

AAAAHHH!!! Finally the day i have waited for for 6 months is here! I am so scared so happy and just too excited. Whee! i will be going earlier abit to check out the place and make sure i dont get lost. Hopefully can steal some time to chat wih friends.

Well, tomorrow is tomorrow so i will push all the nice details til then. For now, it's still the hols for another hour.

Woke up early this morning to see zhi wei off. she will be in NY for the next whole year so my poor cuz will have to have this year alone to himself. (of course there is MSN!) I was crazy enough to lug aong my bio book, which i am deeply in love with, to study along the way. Gaah, i was so sleepy i actually could sleep in the car

Mom wanted to lug me shopping again (like yesterday) but i was too tired to do anything but snooze, so she sent me home and shopped herself

It has been raining the whole day and the temperature is perfect!

2004 started out very nicely of course, became better, turned shitty and started picking up towrds the end. Of course, the last few bits was enough to make me depressed for the next semester. Still, new year, new school, new friends, new experiences. I will be looking forward to that.

I really have no idea what to write now, other than school is starting, so i will end this post
